Harvest Bible Chapel Annapolis (HBCA) is a growing, 3+ year old church in Odenton, Maryland; a fast-growing suburban area just outside of Annapolis. HBCA is centrally located between Baltimore and Washington, D.C. and is a member of the Great Commission Collective church planting network. Our mission is to glorify God through the fulfillment of the Great Commission & our vision is: One Mission, One Church, One Family.



This position is responsible for all aspects of the worship and production ministries. We are looking for a full-time worship leader who will  not only lead worship, but who will provide vision and develop leaders to shape our worship culture and creative teams. This person will lead the congregation to a heart of passionate worship that is honoring to God and bring to life the elements of worship in its many forms.  The worship leader is also a shepherd to those involved with the worship and production teams, as well as the congregation at large. They will help lead and carry out the overall mission and vision of the church to multiply disciples as we fulfill the Great Commission for the glory of God.

  • Have a strong commitment to personal study of Bible, prayer and the spiritual disciplines
  • Meet the Biblical qualifications for an overseer (I Timothy 3:1-7; Titus 1:5-9)
  • Be a self-starter who pursues excellence with drive, passion and initiative
  • Have a teachable and humble spirit and be willing to be held accountable
  • Be willing to submit to and support both the Sr. Pastor and the elder leadership

  • Have strong Biblical knowledge and ability to teach and correctly handle God’s Word
  • Be actively engaged in a small group and live a life committed to multiplying disciples



  • Be a strong vocalist and possess extensive musical ability
  • Have the ability play guitar and lead worship bands
    • Have experience with or the ability to teach multiple instruments
    • Have experience in video editing and graphic design software


  • Have the ability to incorporate worship elements such as lighting and videography
  • Be proficient in PCO, ProPresenter, Prime App (com), and other production software
  • Have experience with Click Track, Loops and various production audio tools



  • Working alongside the Senior Pastor, develop ministry in worship with the responsibility to bring the congregation to a heart of worship.
    • Lead the church in corporate worship on weekends including the planning and execution of special worship events
    • Assist the pastor in development of the weekend services using creative elements to shape a vertically focused worship culture
    • Oversee all aspects of weekend worship: planning, programming, production, and execution
    • Envision and initiate new elements for worship that engage the body of Christ and that lead the congregation into the throne room of God every service
    • Schedule volunteers for weekend services in the areas of worship, production, and creative arts using PCO
    • Manage the scheduling and lead rehearsals of the worship teams each week
    • Recruit, train, and shepherd the worship team as well as the production and creative ministries volunteers
    • Develop our worship, tech, and creative teams, which includes overseeing website, social media, and graphic arts
    • Provide spiritual leadership as you pastor, love, care for, serve, and disciple the teams as well as the church at large
    • Manage and maintain all equipment within the worship and production ministry
    • Maintain and faithfully steward the budgets in the areas of your responsibility



All staff members, including the Worship and Creative Arts Director, are expected to model flexibility, a willingness to take part in church activities and initiatives that may be outside their normal day-to-day responsibilities and to model servant leadership in their positions at all times. In recognition of this, the Worship & Creative Arts Director must be an example of this to all leadership and staff members at all times.



  • Advanced degree in a related field or commensurate experience preferred
