A more personal vision…
By the demographic information provided in the Church Profile, the cornerstone of our church is its mature senior saints, a spiritually solid but aging group of people. They have a desire to see us grow and have a concern for the younger generations after them. There is a much smaller group of 20-60 year olds that have a growing desire to see us reach all age groups in the community with the love of Christ. Our church has AWANA and Youth Group programs that have successfully penetrated our community, which is shown by the faithful attendance of many children who come from un-churched, unsaved families. One of our desires is to develop a plan of action that would allow us to better reach out to those families. With proper leadership, training, and encouragement, we believe that God could do great things in the community and our church through these ministries. As we anticipate the growth of the ministry, the importance of pro-actively supporting and encouraging an Inter-generational ministry is vital as we engage all age groups in the importance of building up all saints of all ages. We understand that this may lead to some change in method without compromising our biblical standards.
