Christian Care Community looking for an individual to provide maintenance services in a residential setting. Must have patience, a positive attitude, and genuine love for helping others. The Manager of Property Maintenance oversees the functions of The Villa and Nehemiah Houses, as it relates to all physical properties owned by Faith Friendship Ministries. This involves managing the life cycle of property, equipment, tooling and physical capital assets that are acquired and used to build, repair and maintain the environment.
Strong management/organizational ability is required, as is a knowledge of property maintenance issues, and a sensitivity to those with special needs. Formal training and/or a combination of job experiences in property issues and/or mechanical trades. Prior experience in personal care or multi-unit housing complex environments is highly desired. Must be physically able to lift 50 lbs. and repetitive lifting of lesser weights, and maintain CPR/AED/First Aid qualifications.
Must be reliable and have a great eye for detail. Must have technical skills and knowledge of various crafts such as carpentry, plumbing etc. Leadership and knowledge of administrative tasks such as scheduling are also essential.
The goal is to ensure that facilities are in a good and safe condition at all times.
Due to the mission of the ministry, the position of Manager of Property Maintenance must be sensitive to the faith led environment as is outlined in the employee manual.
Salary is negotiable with experience and skill sets.
