Job Description


Jubilee Ministries is seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and administrative leader to fulfill our Human Resources needs. He or she should have a strong ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and balance the other duties within the position.
•We are seeking a structured individual who has considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and non-profit employment regulations and is willing to effectively coordinate its practice within the workplace.
•He or she will coordinate the hiring process from processing applications to interviews to references to point of hire including background checks and employment paperwork.
•He or she will also be responsible to process and coordinate our volunteer program including individuals, groups, and community service.
•Other duties will include preparing the monthly employee newsletter, co-leading the safety committee and other committees, processing workman’s compensation claims, and ensuring that Jubilee’s policies and procedures are being followed and updated.

Accountability: Finance Director

Purpose: Responsible for human resource administration of policies, programs, and practices from a stewardship perspective, in alignment with Jubilee’s philosophy, mission statement and core values. Primary functions include organizing, facilitating, implementing, and coordinating.

-Considerable knowledge of principles and practices of personnel administration and
employment regulations.
-Committed Christian with a good understanding and ability to practically apply Biblical principles and standards, particularly within the workplace.
-Exercise judgment/offer advice that is consistent with Jubilee’s mission statement and core values, standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulation or law.
-Ability to objectively coach or to secure coaching for employees and management through complex, difficult and emotional issues.
-Exceptional interpersonal skills: adept at interviewing and extracting relevant information; verbally articulate and clear; good listener; able to apply Biblical problem solving principles and facilitate such with others.
-Able to appropriately handle sensitive information and maintain required confidentiality.
-Attention to detail in gathering information, documentation, composing correspondence, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Strong spelling, grammar and writing skills.
-Ability to organize and prioritize work.
-Able to research and compile various types of data, perform analysis as appropriate and present or propose accordingly.
-Computer literate: proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and database program(s)
-Effective presentation skills.
-Teachable and interested in increasing professional competency.
-Willing to adhere to Jubilee’s Statement of Beliefs and Core Values

Working Conditions/Physical Factors: Will work in an office setting and travel to other store
